About the event
The Bennington County Choral Society's annual scholarship auditions are open to the public. High school-aged musicians from the region will audition for a $500 scholarship to continue their study of music. Auditions will take place Friday, April 4th at 6pm at the Second Congregational Church in Bennington, VT.
Winners will be announced during the reception, immediately following auditions. The scholarship winner will receive their award at the BCCS Spring Concert on Sunday, May 4th. The winner will be invited to perform one of their pieces at the concert.
An accompanist can be provided if necessary. Applicants needing an accompanist should provide copies of their music ahead of time. Applicants are asked to dress in performance-appropriate attire.
